Auction Rules for Live Radio Auction
Save The Earth 2008 Earth Day Benefit Auction
The radio auction will be live on the air, all day
on Friday, April 22th, 2008 and will be promoted by the radio station's
on-air personalities.
An 800 number and a web page for the station will
make the auction accessible to as many people as possible.
You must be at least 18 years old an have a valid
Visa or MasterCard credit card with ample credit available to cover any
bid that you place.
Bids are placed by calling the 800-phone number,
giving your credit card info and your bid amount.
The auction end time is listed on radio station
auction web site.
All items have a specific closing time, which is
an estimate; bidding may be extended past closing time until final
bidding is in. The highest bidder, regardless of the end time, wins the
auction.
There may be a live bid off:
What is the live "bid-off?"
If there are multiple bids coming in near the end
of an auction, Save
The Earth will facilitate a live bid-off that involves two or more top
bidders.
It is vital that the phone number you submit is one you may be reached
at during our auction hours. If it we cannot reach you, you will lose
the opportunity to participate in the bid-off.
During the live bid-off, participants bid against
each other in real time via telephone until a single bidder wins. It's
that simple.
Save The Earth will make the final ruling if there
are any decisions that must be made regarding the auction.
The winner will have the option to have the guitar
shipped to them directly or to the radio station where a promotional
picture can be taken of the winner and the guitar.
Due to issues unforeseen at this time, it may be
necessary for Save The Earth to change auction rules are without notice.
